Clip one end of the provided ground strap to the notched out section of the filler tube steel flange so that the open end of the clip is pointing down
and rearward on the flange (Figure 3).
CAUTION:
Do not attach the ground strap to the black plastic filler tube mounting flange.

Using the three (3) provided tie straps, secure the ground strap to the bottom surface of the filler tube at the following locations (Figure 4):

One tie strap at the top of the filler tube between the steel flange and the vent tubes.

One tie strap at the first bend from the top of the filler tube.
^
One tie strap at the second bend from the top of the filler tube.
