DISASSEMBLY

1. For oil pump disassembly, refer to.
2. Disassemble oil pressure relief valve by unscrewing dome nut and removing sealing washer.
3. Remove relief valve sleeve using a suitable Allen wrench.
4. Remove spring and ball. Examine ball for defects such as grooves or scuffing. Check ball for roundness using a micrometer and replace if

defective.

ASSEMBLY

1. Place ball on its seat in relief valve cover, then using a soft rod, tap ball into place with a small hammer.
2. Insert spring into sleeve and screw sleeve into cover and torque to 62 inch lbs..
3. Install sealing washer and dome nut and torque to 30 ft. lbs..
