Wiper Motor: Service and Repair
Horizon, Omni, Charger & Turismo
1. Remove wiper arm assemblies.
2. Remove nuts from left and right pivots.
3. Remove wiper motor plastic cover.
4. Disconnect wiper motor wiring harness.
5. Remove three bolts from wiper motor mounting bracket.
6. Disengage pivots from cowl top mounting positions.
7. Remove wiper motor, cranks, pivots and drive link assembly from cowl plenum chamber.
8. Remove wiper motor from drive crank linkage.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
Horizon, Omni, Charger & Turismo
1. Disconnect battery ground cable and remove wiper arm assembly.
2. Remove pivot shaft nut, bezel and seal.
3. Remove wiper motor cover and disconnect electrical connector to motor.
4. Remove screws securing wiper motor and motor.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
