1.
Remove caliper assembly, refer to Removal/Installation.
2.
Remove guide pin boot, boot retainer, lid and lock pin boot.
3.
Remove retaining ring by disengaging cap ring from lever cap groove and sliding lever cap away.
4.
Remove parking lever assembly, garter spring, lever cap, cap ring, return spring and connecting link.
5.
Unscrew spindle from caliper body, then remove spring washer, spindle seal, boot ring and dust boot.
6.
Push out piston from caliper body using a suitable screwdriver, then remove piston seal taking care not to damage caliper bore.
7.
Remove parking brake cable bracket, then the bleeder screw.
8.
Using bearing remover/installer MB990665 or equivalent, and a suitable vise, press bearings from caliper.
9.
Inspect cylinder and piston for wear or damage and/or corrosion. Inspect caliper body and sleeve for wear.

10.
Reverse procedure to assemble, noting the following:
a. Apply grease supplied with seal and boot kit to caliper bearings, then using a suitable vise and bearing remover/installer MB990665 or
