Engine Control Module: Service and Repair
Detailed Component Locations - Electronic Control Unit
1.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2.
Remove the plastic side panels from each side of the front of the center console.
3.
Disconnect the electrical connectors from the ECU.
4.
Remove the screws and remove the ECU.
5.
Reinstall in reverse order.
CAUTION: Do not connect or disconnect the ECU connectors with the negative battery cable connected. A minor spark or voltage surge can damage
the ECU.
