Axle Bearing: Service and Repair
Hub & Bearing Replacement

Remove rear axle hub in numbered sequence, noting the following:
1. Remove rear speed sensor as follows:
a. Remove rear toothed rotor, then the clip.
b. Remove cable band, then the connection to speed sensor.
c. Remove rear speed sensor and bracket.
2. Suspend caliper assembly with a piece of wire.
CAUTION: Do not hang caliper by brake hose.
3. Rear hub bearing cannot be disassembled.
4. Press inner race until it contacts with spindle end.
5. Align wheel bearing nut with spindle indentation and crimp.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
