Checking The Control Relay

5. Check for continuity between terminals # 3 and # 2, while the lead wire from the positive terminal of the battery is connected to terminal # 9 of the

relay.
Continuity should exist during connection.

6. Connect the lead wire from the positive terminal of the battery   to terminal # 3 of the Control Relay.

7. Check for voltage at terminal # 2, when the lead wire from the negative terminal of the battery is connected to terminal # 7 of the relay.

Battery voltage should exist during connection.
