2 WHEEL DRIVE
Remove torsion axle and arm in numbered sequence, noting the following:
1. Remove rear speed sensor as follows:
a. Remove rear toothed rotor, then the clip.
b. Remove cable band, then the connection to speed sensor.
c. Remove rear speed sensor and bracket.
d. Reverse procedure to install.
2. Suspend caliper assembly with a piece of wire.
CAUTION: Do not hang caliper by brake hose.
3. Rear hub bearing cannot be disassembled.
4. Remove shock absorber as previously described.
5. Adjust parking brake, refer to BRAKES.
6. Install lateral rod mounting bolt as previously described.
7. Install hub unit until inner race contacts with spindle end.
8. Install wheel bearing and adjust, refer to Steering and Suspension/Tires, Wheels and Alignment/Adjustments.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
