WARNING: Before beginning any airbag system component removal or installation procedures, disconnect and isolate the battery negative
(ground) cable. This will disable the airbag system. Failure to do this could result in accidental airbag deployment and possible personal injury.
1. Remove battery negative cable and battery positive cable in this order.
2. Remove battery thermoguard.
3. Remove battery hold down clamp and battery from vehicle.
4. Remove battery tray and air inlet hose.

5. Remove sensor and disconnect impact sensor electrical connector.
