THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO BASE OR HIGHLINE VEHICLES IDENTIFIED WITH A "2 "
OR A "4 " IN THE SIXTH DIGIT OF THE VIN NUMBER, BUILT PRIOR TO OCT. 24, 1994
(MDH 1O-24-XX), EQUIPPED WITH GRAINED BUMPER FASCIAS IN QUARTZ, BLACK OR WHITE COLORS.
DISCUSSION:
There has been a running change to the grained mold-in-color, quartz, black and white bumper fascias on the Base and Highline vehicles. The new
fascias are made of a high-luster Bexloy material and will have a different appearance compared to the previous fascias.
In the interest of Customer Satisfaction, when replacing either a front or a rear fascia on vehicles built prior to the change, the opposite fascia is to be
replaced. The following is a list of the new part numbers.
NOTE:
REPLACEMENT OF THE OPPOSITE FASCIA WILL NOT BE REQUIRED IF THE VEHICLE HAS PREVIOUSLY HAD THE HIGH-LUSTER
FASCIAS INSTALLED.
