WARNING: Before beginning any airbag system component removal or installation procedures, disconnect and isolate the battery negative
(ground) cable. This will disable the airbag system. Failure to do this could result in accidental airbag deployment and possible personal injury.
1. Remove battery negative cable and battery positive cable in this order.
2. Remove radiator fan module.
3. Drain and remove radiator.

4. Remove three nuts holding sensor to stud plate on the closure panel.
5. Remove sensor and disconnect impact sensor electrical connector.
