Locate the new plate to the frame as shown in Figure 3 and hold in position with a jack stand. Weld the plate along the edges where it contacts the
frame and around the circumference of the five holes in the plate. Move the jack stand as necessary to hold the plate tight against the frame while
applying each weld. (See Figure 4 for a view of all locations to be welded.)
WELDING NOTES:
MIG (CO2) weld preferable/arc weld acceptable.
