Air Diverter Valve: Testing and Inspection
Failure of the diverter valve will be indicated by excessive noise. Either the diverter valve or relief valve has failed if air escapes from the silencer at
engine idle speeds. The diverter valve is not serviceable and must be replaced if defective.
