Tires: Description and Operation

General Information

The tires used on this vehicle are the Goodyear Eagle GSD Extended Mobility Tire (EMT). The EMT used in the model designation of the tire
designates this as an extended mobility tire (EMT). This extended mobility tire used on this vehicle is designed to allow the vehicle to be driven for a
distance of fifty miles at a maximum speed of fifty miles per hour with no air pressure in the tire. This is a requirement of the tires used on this vehicle
because this vehicle is not equipped with a spare tire.

1. The Goodyear Eagle GSD EMT tires are designed and engineered for their specific use on this vehicle. These tires will provide the best overall

performance for the normal operation of this vehicle. The ride and handling characteristics match the vehicle's requirements. With proper care they
will give excellent reliability, traction, skid resistance, and tread life.

2. The tires used on this vehicle are designed with a directional tread pattern. This means that the tread pattern on the tire must rotate in the right

direction when the tire is installed on the vehicle. The correct rotation of the tire is indicated by the two sets of arrows and the designation shown
on the sidewall or the tire. For this reason, the tires on this vehicle can not be rotated.

Driving habits will have more effect on tire life than any other factor. Careful drivers will obtain, in most cases, much greater mileage than severe use or
careless drivers. A few of the driving habits which will shorten the life of any tire are:
