Intake Air Temperature Sensor: Description and Operation

INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR

The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor measures the temperature of the air as it enters the engine. The sensor supplies one of the inputs the
PCM uses to determine injector pulse-width.
