Body Control Module: Service and Repair
Program Low Tire Pressure Warning Module (All 4 Transmitters)
Programming a LTPW Module must be accomplished using the DRB III scan tool. Using the DRB III scan tool select "Chassis" then "Low Tire Pressure
Warning" then "Miscellaneous" then "Program LTPW Module".
Turn the ignition on.
NOTE The tire pressure sensor/transmitters must be programmed in this order.
Place a magnet (special tool 8192) next to the left front tire pressure sensor/transmitter and wait six seconds.
Place the magnet next to the right front tire pressure sensor/transmitter and wait six seconds.
Place the magnet next to the right rear tire pressure sensor/transmitter and wait six seconds.
Place the magnet next to the left rear tire pressure sensor/transmitter and wait six seconds.
To verify that the LTPW module has been programmed, use the DRB III scan tool to look at the LTPW module's memory for the four transmitter ID's
and the appropriate tire pressure threshold values. If the LTPW module is NOT programmed properly, the "Low Tire" lamp will remain on after the bulb
