Air Bag Deactivation Switch: Service and Repair

Passenger Airbag ON/OFF Switch Location

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Open right passenger door.
3. Using a trim stick (special tool #C-4755), gently pry out on right instrument panel endcap.
4. Disconnect two posi-lock wire connectors to switch.
5. Remove endcap with switch.
6. Remove three mounting screws to switch.
7. Separate switch from endcap and remove.

INSTALLATION

For installation, reverse the above procedures.
