Power Steering Pump: Service and Repair
Power Steering Pump Removal and Installation
Installation
1. Install power steering pump back in vehicle from the bottom of the engine.
2. Install power steering pump back on mounting bracket. Install the 3 bolts mounting power steering pump to mounting bracket. Tighten mounting
bolts to a torque of 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.).
3. Install power steering fluid supply hose on power steering pump. Install hose clamp on fluid supply hose. Be sure hose clamp is installed past bead
on pump fitting.
