Stabilizer Link: Service and Repair

NOTE:  The front stabilizer bar attaching links can be replaced without having to remove the stabilizer bar from the vehicle.

REMOVE 

1. Remove the grill from the front fascia. Refer to illustration for the grill attachment fastener locations.

2. Remove the nuts from both bolts, attaching the stabilizer bar attaching links to the rocker arms.

NOTE:  When removing the stabilizer bar attaching link to rocker arm bolts it may be necessary to raise or lower the vehicle slightly. This will
take the weight off the bolts making them easier to remove if the bolts are binding in the rocker arms.

3. Remove both stabilizer bar attaching link to rocker arm attaching bolts.
4. Raise vehicle on jackstands or centered on a frame contact type hoist.
