REPAIR PROCEDURE

This procedure involves replacing the carburetor.

1984-1/2 Vehicles With 2.2L Engines, VIN Codes "C" and "8"

Use carburetor, PN 4324751, from Driveability Package, PN 4419423, to replace carburetors, PN 4300032, 4300033, 4300034, 4300035,
4300038, and 4300039.

On vehicles without altitude compensator (carburetor PN 4300033), cap the altitude compensator nipples on the replacement carburetor, PN
4324751, using rubber caps, PN 3580171 and 3580172 (Figures 1 and 2).
