Using the procedure outlined in the appropriate service manual, remove the throttle body from the intake manifold.

2.

Using a 1000 watt heat gun, heat the IAC attaching screw heads and thread area of the throttle body for one minute. This will soften the thread
sealant used on these screws.

NOTE:
DIRECT THE HEAT AWAY FROM PLASTIC COMPONENTS.

3.

Remove the IAC screws using the correct torx head tool.

4.

Install the throttle body using a new gasket and torque to 175 inch-pounds.

Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
