Front Door Handle: Service and Repair
Exterior Door Handle

1. Remove trim panel. Move glass to the up position.
2. Remove the watershield as necessary.
3. Disconnect wiring harness at connector.

4. Remove switch at outside handle using a tool like the one illustrated above.
5. Disconnect fiber optic at collector.
6. Disconnect clips on outside handle link at latch.
7. Disconnect key cylinder link at latch.
8. Remove outside handle retainer nuts and the retainer.
9. Remove handle assembly through outer panel handle opening.

10. Transfer lock cylinder, linkage, and linkage retainer clips to new outside handle and, using the reverse of this procedure, install the handle.
