The primary source of squeaks is found in the metal tabs extending down from the rear corners of the cushion frame rubbing on the heavier
corner reinforcements (Figure 2).

Either one or both of the above conditions may be found.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1.

After disconnecting the seat tracks from the floor, adjust the front seat to the full rear position (electric tracks - full rear and rear up), and the
recliner/seat back to its most erect position.

2.

Remove the seat assembly from the vehicle and invert on a clean work surface.
