Cylinder Head On Engine
1.
Rotate crankshaft until piston is at TDC on compression stroke.
2.
Apply 90 - 120 psi of compressed air into spark plug hole of valve spring being removed.
3.
Using tool 4682, compress valve spring enough to remove valve stem locks, Fig. 23.
4.
Remove valve spring and spring seat.
5.
Remove valve seal.
