Insert .095" pin gauge between upper edge of primary choke blade and air horn while applying light closing pressure to top of choke blade.
Measure cam index adjustment (Figure 1).
c.
To adjust cam index, open choke blade enough to install bending tool (needle nose pliers) on index cam operating lever tang. Bend tang to
obtain desired cam index adjustment .095" (Figure 1).
d.
Repeat Step b. to confirm adjustment.

Reinstall carburetor on engine.
11.
Start engine and allow to come to full operating temperature.
Check and reset idle speed, idle mixture, and fast idle speed. Reset if necessary (see Table 1 for speed specifications).
