Voyager L4-153 2.5L SOHC (1990)
14. Carefully pry bearing seal from machined recess in knuckle and clean recess thoroughly.
15. Install C-4811 bearing tools as shown, hold nut C-4811-13 and turn screw C- 4811-5 until bearing is removed from knuckle and into ring
C-4811-3A.
CAUTION: Inspect the hub/knuckle bearing interface surfaces for damage before installing a new bearing. If damage has occurred, replace the
damaged components.
Install
1. Press new bearing into knuckle with Tool C-4811-4, -11. For high temperature durability the "Red" seal on the bearing is positioned outboard
toward the bearing retainer.
2. Install new gasket and bearing retainer. Torque retainer screws to 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
