Insert four 1" sections of 1/8" inside diameter windshield washer hose on each side of the wall adjacent to the mounting tab (Figure 1).

Remove foam strip from center rib and discard.

If a positive engagement is still not obtained, remove lamp assembly and replace the support bracket in the headliner with Support PN 4312968.
During installation of the support bracket to the headliner, the crimp tabs should be bent parallel to the headliner surface. Forcing the crimp tabs
into the headliner will cause a bulge on the lamp mounting surface.
