Impact Sensor: Service and Repair
FRONT IMPACT SENSOR REPLACE
1. Disarm air bag system as outlined under Air Bag System Disarming & Arming.

2. Remove upper radiator closure crossmember to sensor attaching nuts.
3. Disconnect sensor electrical connector, then remove sensor.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten sensor attaching nuts to specifications.
5. Do not connect battery ground cable. Refer to Air Bag System Disarming & Arming procedure to rearm air bag system.
