Squeaking/Creaking Noise

From The Base Of The Windshield/Instrument Panel

MODELS:

1991-92 (AS)

Caravan/GrandCaravan/Caravan C/V 
Voyager/Grand Voyager/Town & Country

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

Vehicle may exhibit a squeaking/creaking noise from the lower windshield area, and may be most noticeable when driving over rough road surfaces.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This repair involves removing the two (2) lower windshield support spacers.

1.

As outlined in the appropriate service manual, remove the following items:

Windshield Wiper Arms

Windshield Cowl Panel Cover

2.

Using a large screw driver and a pair of channel locks, carefully break or pry away the lower windshield support spacers. (As Illustrated)

CAUTION:
DO NOT ALLOW TOOLS TO GO UNDER OR TOUCH THE GLASS, THE WINDSHIELD MAY BREAK.

3.

Install Cowl Panel Cover.

4.

Install and adjust Windshield Wiper Arms.
