Cut the weatherstrip seal, allowing 1/8 - 3/16 inches (3-5 mm) overlap of the two ends as shown in Figure 2. Be careful to cut the weatherstrip off
squarely.

Apply a small amount of Loctite Black Max 380 Adhesive to each end of the weatherstrip seal.

Finish installation of the weatherstrip seal by first installing the free end of the weatherstrip at the butt joint and forcing the remainder of the
weatherstrip into position as shown in Figure 3. Installing the weatherstrip in this manner will ensure a tight joint and correct sealing.
