Whenever replacement of the solenoid and wiring harness assembly is necessary, refer to the following part numbers, vehicle model year and
transmission identification nameplate.
Use part number 8665356 when:

the transmission is a 8PBS or 9PBS
-
the vehicle is a 1988 or 1989 model
-
a 1990 model service unit is used in a 1988 or 1989 vehicle
Use part number 8665465 when:

the transmission and vehicle were built in model year 1990
