Floor Panel Carpet Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the front bucket seats. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement (See: Seats/Service and Repair/Bucket Seat Replacement) in Seats.
2. Remove the rear seats. Refer to the following procedures in Seats:

3. Remove the rear seats anchor plate bezels. Refer to Rear Floor Carpet Trim Plate Replacement (See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Rear Floor
Carpet Trim Plate Replacement).
4. Remove the rear cargo tray anchors, if equipped.
5. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (See: Console/Service and Repair/Front Floor Console Replacement)
in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
6. Remove the front and rear door sill plates. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Trim Plate Replacement (See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Front Side
Door Sill Trim Plate Replacement) and Rear Side Door Sill Trim Plate Replacement (See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Rear Side Door Sill
Trim Plate Replacement).
7. Remove the endgate sill plate. Refer to Rear Floor Rear Trim Plate Replacement (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Rear Floor Rear Trim
Plate Replacement).
8. Remove the front cowl trim panels. Refer to Cowl Side Trim Panel Replacement (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Cowl Side Trim Panel
Replacement).
9. Remove the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Center
Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement).
10. Remove the rear lower quarter trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Quarter
Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement).
11. Remove the carpet from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as
the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.
1. Install the carpet into the vehicle.
Reach under the carpet and feed through any electrical harness.
2. Install the rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Quarter
Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement).
3. Install the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Center Pillar
