Removal Procedure
Important: Before cutting out a stationary window, apply a double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces
and the interior trim.
1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the upper quarter trim. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim
Panel/Service and Repair/Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement) in Interior Trim.
Caution: When working with any type of glass or sheet metal with exposed or rough edges, wear approved safety glasses and gloves in order to
reduce the chance of personal injury.
Important: Before starting the removal procedure for the quarter window crisscross the window with masking tape (3).
When cutting out the window use care not to damage the locators and pins that are attached around the perimeter of the window. The
window has four locators (1) around the window and two alignment pins (2) in the front, if the locators are damaged the window must be
replaced.
3. Remove the stationary quarter window.
