Vacuum Brake Booster: Service and Repair
Delco-Moraine Single Diaphragm Type
Disassembly
1. Remove boot and silencer from rear of housing.
2. Remove check valve and grommet, front seal, and vacuum switch and grommet, if equipped, from front housing.

3. Scribe matching marks between front and rear housings to aid assembly, then mount booster assembly in suitable holding fixture with rear housing
facing up.
4. Apply pressure to hold housing together, then rotate front housing counterclockwise to unlock housing.
