This bulletin is being revised to correct the model years involved for Pontiac. This bulletin cancels and replaces bulletin 92-8-12 issued 1/92. Please
discard bulletin 92-8-12.
CONDITION:
An intermittent no crank condition may be caused by a malfunctioning Pass-Key Relay. The security light will come on for five seconds, then go out,
when attempting to start the vehicle. The vehicle, however, will not enable the starter.
SERVICE PROCEDURE:
On all vehicles, replace the starter enable relay with Part Number 25609047. Refer to the appropriate service manual for location of the starter enable
relay.
