Bonneville V6-3800 3.8L Supercharged (1992)
Test K: Oil Pressure Gage Short Test
Test L: Oil Pressure Gage Open Test
Test M: Oil Pressure Gage Accuracy Test
Disconnect the Oil Pressure Sender/Switch connector. Connect one red clip of the J-33431 tester to terminal A (TAN) and connect the other red clip
lead to terminal B (BLK). Set the resistance dials of the tester to 0 ohms, then move resistance to 90 ohms. The Oil pressure Gage should indicate low
pressure, and then move to high pressure as resistance is varied.
^ If the gage indicates correctly, replace the Oil Pressure Sender/Switch.
^ If the gage does not indicate correctly, check the TAN (31), TAN/BLK (231) and BLK (154) wires. If they are good, replace the Instrument Cluster.
