Rear Door Panel: Service and Repair

Remove or Disconnect

1. Switch plate by inserting small flat-bladed tool between the armrest and the clip at rear of switch plate, push in and up.
2. Courtesy lamp.
3. Electrical connector.
4. Screw and inside handle bezel.
5. Screws at courtesy lamp opening.
6. Trim plate and screw at top of armrest handle.
7. Use tool J38778 to disengage trim panel fasteners at side and bottom of trim panel.
8. Pull up at top of trim panel to unseat inner sealing strip.
9. Trim panel.

10. Inner sealing strip.

Install or Connect

1. Inner sealing strip.
2. Trim panel.
3. Trim plate and screw at top of armrest handle
4. Screws at courtesy lamp opening.
5. Inside handle bezel.
6. Electrical connector.
7. Courtesy lamp.
8. Switch plate.
