Condition
Some owners may comment on high or fluctuating temperature gauge readings.
Cause
Condition may be due to build variation in the original clusters.
Correction
1.
With ignition "ON", read the engine temperature using a Tech I tool.
2.
If the instrument cluster engine temperature gauge does not indicate within + or - 20 degrees of the Tech I reading, replace the cluster in
accordance with Section 8C of the Service Manual.
This condition has been corrected on all service replacement clusters.
