Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Camshaft And Crankshaft Position Sensors

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Negative battery cable.
2. Raise vehicle.
3. Right front tire and wheel assembly.
4. Right inner fender access cover.
5. Electrical connector from camshaft position sensor.
6. Camshaft position sensor retaining screw.
7. Camshaft position sensor.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Camshaft position sensor.
2. Camshaft position sensor retaining screw.

Tighten to 4-6 Nm (35 - 53 lb. in ).

3. Electrical connector.
4. Right inner fender access cover.
5. Right front tire and wheel assembly.
6. Lower vehicle.
7. Negative battery cable.
