Lift up center console trim plate. (see Item 1, Figure 1).

Put shift lever in the "P" Park position.
7.
Remove PRNDL bulb housing fastener (see Item 3, Figure 1).
The PRNDL bulb and housing are located on the lower left front of the shifter assembly and can only be accessed in the "P" Park position.

Remove bulb socket from housing assembly.
9.
Put a 3 mm by 6 mm notch in the bulb housing (see Figure 2). (A 3 mm drill bit and file works well.)
10.
Install bulb socket into housing.
11.
Install bulb housing assembly to shifter assembly (see Item 2, Figure 1).
