Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling   or SIR Disabling and Enabling  in Restraint Systems.
2. Position the seat cushion out of the way. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Replacement.
3. Remove the head restraint.

4. Open the seat back cover J and arrow fasteners (1, 4).
5. Disconnect the double J channel fasteners (5).
6. Disconnect the J channel fasteners (2,3).

7. Disconnect the J channel fastener (1).
8. Remove the inflatable restraint.
9. Remove the head restraint retainers.

10. Remove the shoulder belt retractor.

11. Remove the seat back cover (2) from the seat back pad (1) and the seat back frame.

12. Remove the seat back pad (2) from the seat back frame (1).
