Brake Pedal Assembly Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the I carrier assembly, to gain access to the brake pedal assembly to cowl bolts.
2. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal assembly.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors (3) from the stoplamp switch (2) and the TCC/cruise control switch.
4. Remove the stop lamp switch from the pedal assembly.
5. Remove the TCC/cruise control release switch from the pedal assembly.
6. Remove the vacuum brake booster pushrod retainer (3) from the clevis pin.
7. Remove the foam spacer (2) from the brake pedal clevis pin.
8. Disconnect the vacuum brake booster push rod (1), from the brake pedal clevis pin.
9. Remove the brake pedal assembly mounting to cowl stud nuts (1).
