4. Remove the rear seat.
5. Locate the rear fuse center under rear seat, then remove the fuse center top cover.

IMPORTANT:  With the SIR fuse removed and the ignition switch in the ON position, the AIR BAG warning indicator illuminates. This is normal
operation, and does not indicate an SIR system malfunction.

6. Locate and remove the SIR fuse from the rear fuse center.

7. Remove the Connector Position Assurance (CPA) (3) from the LF/driver side impact module yellow connector (1) which is located under the

driver seat.

8. Disconnect the vehicle harness yellow connector (2) from the LF side impact module yellow connector (1).

ENABLING PROCEDURE

1. Remove the key from the ignition switch.
