Traction Control Switch: Service and Repair

Traction Control Switch Replacement (W/NW9) 

Removal Procedure 

1. Remove the trim plate bezel - IP Cluster. 
2. Remove the console accessory switch mount plate. 
3. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the traction control switch.
4. Remove the traction control switch mounting screw (1).
5. Remove the traction control switch (3).

Installation Procedure 

1. Install the traction control switch (3).

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the traction control switch mounting screw (1).

Tighten the traction control mounting screw to 2 Nm (18 inch lbs.). 

3. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the traction control switch.
4. Install the console accessory switch mount plate. 
5. Install the trim plate bezel - I Cluster.
