Power Steering Line/Hose: Service and Repair
Return Hose

Power Steering Return Hose Replacement (W/LD8) 

Removal Procedure 

1. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the power steering return hose from the power steering pump.

3. Remove the power steering return hose mounting bracket retaining bolt from the cylinder head.
4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
5. Remove the front air deflector. 
6. Remove the power steering gear heat shield. 
7. Disconnect the power, steering return hose from wiring harness tie strap.
8. Disconnect the power, steering return hose from the frame brackets.
9. Disconnect the power- steering return hose from the power steering gear.

10. Remove the power steering return hose from the vehicle.
