Catalytic Converter Hanger To Transmission

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Raise and suitably support vehicle.
2. Oxygen sensor electrical connector.
3. Oxygen sensor from 3-way catalytic converter.
4. 3-way catalytic converter bolts/screws (6) at exhaust manifolds.
5. Exhaust pipe clamp (9) at 3-way catalytic converter.
6. 3-way catalytic converter (7) from exhaust pipe (12).
7. Catalytic converter hanger bolts/screws (31).
8. Catalytic converter hanger (30) from 3-way catalytic converter (7).

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. 3-way catalytic converter (7) to catalytic converter hanger (30).
2. Catalytic converter hanger bolts/screws (31). Tighten Catalytic converter hanger bolts/screws (31) to 41 Nm (30 ft lb).
3. 3-way catalytic converter (7) to exhaust pipe (12).
4. Exhaust pipe clamp(9) at 3-way catalytic converter. Tighten Exhaust pipe clamp (9) to 68 Nm (50 ft lb).
5. Catalytic converter pipe bolts/screws (6) at exhaust manifolds. Tighten Catalytic converter pipe bolts/screws (6) to 30 Nm (22 ft lb).
6. Oxygen sensor to 3-way catalytic converter. Tighten Oxygen sensor to 42 Nm (31 ft lb).
7. Oxygen sensor electrical connector.
8. Lower vehicle.
