This notice is sent to inform you that Pontiac Division is conducting a recall campaign that includes your vehicle.
REASON FOR THIS RECALL
General Motors has decided that certain 1995 Pontiac Firebird model vehicles equipped with optional aluminum wheels have an incorrect locking wheel
lug nut key. If a wheel had to be removed from one of these vehicles, the lug nut key socket supplied for the locking wheel lug nut may not fit the nut and
the wheel could not be removed.
WHAT WE WILL DO
To reduce your inconvenience. we are enclosing a new locking wheel lug nut key.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO
Replace the locking wheel lug nut key that is located in your glove box with the new locking wheel lug nut key enclosed with this letter. Please let us
know that you have placed the new locking wheel lug nut key in your glove box by completing the enclosed postage-paid Owner Reply Card and
returning it to us. This assists us in assuring that all affected vehicles have been corrected. If you have sold or traded your vehicle, please let us know by
completing the postage-paid Owner Reply Card and returning it to us.
