BRAKE TRANSMISSION SHIFT INTERLOCK (BTSI)
1. Check fuse No. 12 in instrument panel fuse block.
2. If open, check circuit 239, 275 and 924.
3. Make sure ground 200 is clean and tight.
4. If transmission shift lever does not shift out of park, adjust shift linkage.
5. Check for broken or partially broken wire inside of insulation, which could cause system fault, but not be indicated in a continuity/voltage check
with the system disconnected.
6. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment.
7. Check system under load for voltage drop.
8. Refer to Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 for wiring diagrams and diagnostic charts.
