Oil Pressure Gauge: Testing and Inspection
Test H: Oil Pressure Gage Always Indicates High Pressure

TEST H: OIL PRESSURE GAGE INDICATES HIGH PRESSURE "60"

Disconnect Fuel Pump/Oil Pressure Sender/Switch connector. Connect a fused jumper from terminal A TAN (31) wire (harness side), to ground. Turn
Ignition Switch to RUN.

If the Oil Pressure Gage indicates low pressure "0," replace the Fuel Pump/Oil Pressure Sender/Switch.

If the Oil Pressure Gage still indicates high pressure "60," check TAN (31) wire for an open. Check Instrument Cluster Printed Circuit for cracks or
flaws. Repair/replace the Oil Pressure Gage if the wire and Printed Circuit are good
