General Motors has determined that some 1989 Pontiac Firebird models with optional "Sport Appearance Package" (RPO W68) may have been
produced without the front upper and lower radiator baffles. The omission of these parts may cause an engine to overheat as indicated by the normal
overheat warning indicators.
To correct this condition, new front upper and lower radiator baffles will be installed on all affected vehicles.
